The Miami
City Club was originally built as the exclusive executive
dining room for a prominent bank, and no expense was spared
during its construction in 1984. From the polished marble
entry, to the rare teak paneling, and the airy dining and
meeting rooms, the Club quarters are a statement of a contemporary
and international elegance. Day or night from every room
this vista impresses the most sophisticated world traveler.
The Club
is located on the 55th floor of the Wachovia Financial
Center in downtown Miami. This, the highest point south
of Atlanta, overlooks Biscayne Bay, the Port of Miami,
Coconut Grove and Coral Gables.
Although
quite new in comparison to Miami's more than one hundred
years of history, the foundation of the Club began in 1921
with the opening of the Miami Club. The City Club of Miami,
established in 1984, came together with the Miami Club
as Miami City Club, Inc., in 1994. The Miami City Club
was developed to serve the private club needs of today's
business professional. The convenient downtown location,
superior food and service, simplistically elegant dining
and meeting rooms and unparalleled views have attracted
the most prestigious membership to this South Florida business
club. Business and government leaders from the US, Latin
America, and around the world enjoy meeting in an atmosphere
conducive to accomplishing great things. |
